The Challenge
Living Kitchen (livingkitchenwellness.com) was trapped in a "WordPress mess." With over 30 conflicting plugins, the site was on the brink of technical collapse —slow to load and nearly impossible to manage. Visually, the brand had grown old and dull, failing to reflect the vibrant, high-end nature of a top-tier private chef. The biggest risk was the migration itself: moving years of established content and search authority required a meticulous technical plan to prevent an absolute collapse in Google rankings.
The Solution
Bespoke Site Architecture: Using the custom photography as the structural foundation, I built a minimalist layout that utilized negative space and custom-path typography. The "dotted line" motifs and soft tonal palettes were designed to guide the viewer through Heidi’s story, ensuring the imagery was never just decorative, but fundamental to the user experience.
The Result
The result is a high-performance business tool that finally looks as premium as the service it provides. By eliminating "Plugin Purgatory" and securing the foundation with a 1:1 redirect map, the brand didn't just survive the move—it thrived.
